Purchase Price Allocations (ASC 805 & IFRS 3)
In preparation for an acquisition or after it closes, our clients look to Scott Valuation to determine the fair value of assets and liabilities for financial reporting purposes. We work closely with technical accounting experts who determine the needed journal entries to bridge the closing and opening balance sheets. As GAAP and IFRS accounting standards for acquisitions change, we stay on top of guidance on best practices for ASC 805 and IFRS 3.
